Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal


A warm, hearty, high fiber breakfast to start the day!
Use Regular or Steel Cut oats. Oats provide 4 grams of fiber per 1/2 cup of Regular/Old Fashioned oats, 4 grams per 1/4 cup steel cut (uncooked). Regular oats have been steamed which cuts down on cooking time. Steel cut oats require longer cooking time, puff up more than regular oats and have a chewier texture. Oats digest slowly, providing a longer feeling of satiety.
Use the Steel Cut Oats in a slow cooker (crockpot) and wake up to a nutritious, delicious breakfast!
