Spinach Salad

saladThis beautiful, nutritious salad is a good source of calcium, vitamins and fiber. A quick and easy to prepare gourmet dish.

 

1/2 c.  Plain Toasted or Honey Toasted Walnuts or Almonds (see recipe)
4 c. torn Romaine lettuce
4 c. torn spinach leaves (or any combination of lettuces and kale)
1 c. broccoli crowns
1/2 c. sliced red or green onion
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
¼-1/2 c dried cranberries
and/or fresh fruit (raspberries or sliced strawberries),cubed pears, pomegranate seeds
