Strawberry “Ice Cream”
Wash, hull and slice 1 pint strawberries. Place on a baking pan or in large plastic container and freeze.
Peel 4 large bananas, break into thirds and freeze in plastic bag.
Thaw slightly. Place in high speed blender and blend until smooth. You may need to stop the blender occasionally to stir and tamp down ingredients.
Serve immediately in small bowls. Stir in additional chopped strawberries, if desired. You may pour into a covered container and refreeze to eat later. Just thaw slightly, blend until smooth.
Chocolate “Ice Cream”
4 large frozen bananas, broken into thirds. Thaw slightly.
2 T cocoa powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
¼ c. non-dairy milk. Pour into a covered container and freeze.
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately.
